New Year, New Path, New Dawg!

The past year or so has brought many challenges and changes for each of us Dawgs. Life throws bones at us all the time, and what do Dawgs do with bones? We chew on 'em for a while, and then we bury them... just in case we need to revisit them later, grind on 'em a bit more, and then bury them again, once and for all. That's what we've done throughout 2024-2025. And all those bones, though part of the Dawgpound, are now just part of our past. We are grateful for what carrying each of those bones has taught us, making us stronger, and better as a band and as individuals.

As Nawty Dawg moves through 2026, we are runnin' with our newest Dawg, Mr. Paul Helfrich (pictured above). Paul is a beast on the bass and is making us a wiser and more cohesive band. His extensive background in music and the arts, through management, marketing, consultancy, and his personal talent (of course!) make Paul a beautiful addition to our Dawgpound — we are fortunate to have him!

Change is always part of life, and being in a band is no different. But, as with life's journey, Nawty Dawg rolls with the changes, learning and growing. By rolling with the challenges and changes, our musicianship and connection with one another have blossomed in the last few years. We are blessed to have our supporters still along for the ride.

So, thank you, to all our folks in our Dayton Dawgpound and beyond... for "liking" and sharing and clapping and howling and showing up to rock the nights away with us.

Let's take a bite outta 2026! We look forward to seeing all your happy faces. WOOF! 🐾
